Welcome to the Space Society of Silicon Valley!

We support space exploration and settlement through education as a chapter of the National Space Society. Membership is open to anyone in any location. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization.

The Space Society of Silicon Valley provides a dedicated focus on key areas in space exploration and settlement through our Centers of Excellence:

We also connect subject matter experts with teachers to advance Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEM and STEAM) education and participate in space education festivals such as the Novato Space Festival, the Bay Area Science Festival and the STEAM Symposium for teacher development.

The Space Society of Silicon Valley was honored with a National Space Society Chapter Special Merit Award for "political and legislative actions" in 2014 based on achievements in providing space education to the public with special focus on education and outreach in space legislation, policy and law. S3V provided a wealth of information about space law as a developing practice, pending space legislation, space settlement roadmapping and strategic planningspace entrepreneurship and economic developmentSTEAM education and space partnersS3V extends congratulations and appreciation to all volunteers, members, partners and fellow NSS chapters.
